Centres of knowledge are not made of mud and bricks, but ideas. One may start a school, a college or a university with money alone, but for it to be consequential in the destiny of its community or nation it must have its roots in ideas, in visions of a better tomorrow. Skylight was started with a similar vision of changing the destiny of the people living around it, and even those at a distance, for the better. It was established to produce people who can lead the community in all fields towards a more humane, posperous, healthy and spiritual tomorrow. People who will be the cornerstones of a society that appreciates individual talent but still lives and breathes a collective existance, a society that is at peace with itself and its creator.
